Tube Skin Temperature Sensors

Tube skin thermocouples can accurately measure the skin temperatures in fired process furnaces and boilers. The large diameter thermocouple, complete with protection pad, is designed to minimise temperature measurement issues caused by flame propagation and radiant heat.

Correct installation of the Tube skin thermocouple is the most critical factor in assuring longevity and performance. Each temperature sensor is also unique in its installation – this factor must be considered
when selecting the correct design and layout.

We have a variety of measurement types and constructions available such as; weld-pad, V-pad and smaller assemblies that have no protection pads.

We supply our Tube skins in a variety of materials, depending on the process application and conditions.
